The performance in the year 2021 was exceeding the target in all 4 consecutive quarters.
In 2021, the Company’s Net Profit was equal to 226.14 million baht, an increase of 278.54% compared to the previous year's net profit of 59.74 million baht.
While the revenue from services for the year 2021 amounted to 3,352.02 million baht, an increase of 147.90 % compared to the same period of the previous year, increased for 11.54 % compared to Quarter 3/2021 and increased for 139.45 % compared to Quarter 4/2020
Anyhow, the revenue from services can be categorized as follows revenue from Sea Freight Services for 81.41%, Transportation Services for 13.20%, Air Freight Services for 4.97%, and Other Services for 0.42%
- Developed our investment in 33 rai of land, in addition to the Pinthong Land Project in Chonburi Province, to expand our logistics coverage to support customers in the EEC area. Listed additional SONIC shares on the SET mai Index, and began trading on 15 November 2021.
The company has set the target to achieve continuous growth for all service groups. Our freight shipping group remains the highest portion of revenue earnings, and we plan to expand the trailer truck leasing business for our partners under concept of “Logising” (Logistics + Leasing).
Business risks
· Risk from the volatility of ship cargo hold prices: The company sets sales prices by adding our minimum profit to our cost price. This enables us to manage risks from the volatility of ship cargo hold prices and ensure it is competitive, in line with market prices.
· Risk from oil price volatility: The company regularly reviews our oil costing structure. When there is a significant change to oil prices, the company will adjust service costs to one that reflects the new oil price.
· Risk from product damage liability: The company has a service selection policy, and conducts quality assessments of transport service providers at least once a year to ensure that they deliver according to specified standards.
Financial Risks
· Risk from foreign exchange rate volatility: The company receives revenue and payments in foreign currencies, as we conduct transactions with international partners. The company reduces this risk by using a natural hedge, and has deposit accounts in foreign currencies.
