Business Highlight

The Company has expertise in product design and development 

towards developing products with customers. The key strategic 

customers are an “Accessible Luxury Jewelry” group based in 

the United States, Europe and Asia. The Company is proficient in 

distribution and retail business through seamless integration of 

offline and online channels with consumer-centric approach 

(Omnichannel). The channels include owned retail stores and 

authorized distributors located in Asia and the Middle East to 

directly reach target consumer groups of jewelry products 

and gold sheet artwork. 

Performance and Analysis
Business Performance Summary

Pranda Group has sales revenue of Baht 3,886.68 million increased by 13.93% which come from revenue from production business at Baht 2,870.79 million or increased by 17.26% due to project orders from domestic organization during the year and increased orders from key customers in Europe and America. However, revenue from production business included revenue from gold materials sales Baht 582.57 million. Excluding this revenue, overall sales in production business would have decreased by 3.82% compared to the previous year.

Meanwhile, sales from the Omni-channel business are at Baht 1,015.89 million increased by 5.47% mainly attributed to distribution channel in India have continued to grow. Overall, Pranda Group has a gross profit margin of 20.57% with selling and administrative expenses of Baht 672.98 million. As a result, Pranda Group has an operating profit of Baht 126.32 million baht.

Risk Management Policy
  • Fluctuation on price of raw materials 

Production business has a forward contract with a financial institution to manage current price of raw materials to protect the business from potential increases in raw material costs. Also, retail business utilizes gold loans from financial institutions as a strategy to hedge against gold price volatility and plans its gold product orders to align appropriately with retail sales in order to mitigate risks both volatility of gold prices and potential inventory overstock.

  • Fluctuation on exchange rate 

The Company's revenue is mostly based in foreign currencies and costs of key raw materials are priced in foreign currency resulting in the transactions of Natural Hedge as well as using Forward Contract to mitigate risk.

  • Shortage of skilled craftsmanship 

The company engage employees to long-time work by offering opportunities for career growth and providing appropriate benefits and welfare for all employees together with plan workforce in each area.

  • Pranda Jewelry Public Company Limited has been certified with

standards assurance systems by the Responsible Jewellery Council (RJC) and ISO14001.

  • PRIMA, a 99.9% pure gold jewelry brand (24K), has received the
