In 1Q25, total income was at THB30,499.0 million an increase of 12.1% from 1Q24, driven by 1) rising prices of domestic pork and chicken, 2) increasing demand of pork and chicken both domestic and export market, and 3) product portfolio optimization which focused on high-margin products and channels.
In 1Q25, gross profit was at THB5,362.7 million, an increase of 83.5% YoY, and gross profit margin was at 17.7%, primarily due to rising of domestic livestock price especially pig price as a result of lower supply from swine disease outbreak and a decrease in raw material prices. Net profit was at THB1,897.8 million and a net profit margin of 6.2% in 1Q25, a turnaround from a net loss of THB124.1 million in 1Q24.
