1. Thai Credit under Tang To Know-How entering 10th years. In Q1/2026, there were 14,822 people through over 236 sessions.
2. Thai Credit launched "QR Shop Loan" under the concept of "Create Opportunities, Get Additional Capital, Simply Receive Payments via QR Code Scanning at Shops" to meet the needs of small business owners using the MicroPay e-wallet app, supporting their access to funding.
Thai Credit reported its financial results for Q1/2026, posting net profit of THB 1,164.7 million, up 29.0% YoY. The Bank also achieved a remarkable ROE of 17.3%, despite a challenging economic environment. Growth was driven primarily by the expansion of its total loan portfolio, which increased by 3.8% YTD, supported by continued growth across its core lending segments. ECL reduced significantly by 29.7% YoY, with the gross NPLs ratio remaining stable at a low level of 4.2%. The Bank maintained a strong NIM at 7.0%
In the 1Q/2026, Thai Credit’s net profit was THB 1,164.7 million, an increase of 29.0% YoY. The main reason was a significant reduction in ECL resulting from the Thai Credit's prudent lending management. Furthermore, it resulted from the continued implementation of loan assistance measures since 2025, aimed at accelerating assistance to borrowers before they reach Stage 2 and Stage 3 loan defaults, thus reducing loan downgrades. In addition, non-interest income increased by 2,563.9% YoY, mainly due to accrued income from FIDF compensation under the "You Fight, We Help" scheme and an increased by 1.2% YoY, aligning with the expansion of loan disbursements. The ROE in the 1Q/2026 remained high compared to the industry average at 17.33%, up from 15.38 percent in 1Q/2025.
In the 1Q/2026, loans to borrowers increased by 3.8% YTD. However, the NPLs ratio remained stable at 4.2%. Furthermore, the NPL Coverage Ratio remained high at 154.6%, aligns with Thai Credit's cautious operational strategy.
Risk management is key to Thai Credit's stable and sustainable growth. Thai Credit has a risk management plan which focuses on developing and strengthening risk management systems across several areas to ensure that all essential processes are covered, and in line with the BOT's risk oversight guidelines. The risk management plan provides possible mitigation measures to challenges arising from loan quality, especially in a situation caused by an external factor beyond the control of Thai Credit.
Besides, established its organizational structure considering the balance of power and efficient operational processes. It has also adhered to the principles of good corporate governance, implemented a risk reporting system, and put in place suitable risk management tools and processes to manage risks effectively.
