Performance and Analysis
Business Performance Summary

In 6M/2026, net profit attributable to the Company was THB 8,951 million, a decrease of 53%, due to the followings :

  1. The Company recorded sales revenue of THB 283,883 million, a decrease of 3% from the previous year, resulted from the translation of foreign operations into Thai Baht, mainly of Vietnam, Turkey, the Philippines, and India currencies. Excluding the impact, sales revenue was relatively flat, with meat prices in several countries declining according to oversupply conditions and slowing purchasing power, particularly swine prices in Thailand and the Philippines, which decreased from the high base in the previous year. Meanwhile, sales revenue in China decreased due to slower demand for animal health and nutrition products.
  2. Gross profit was THB 43,340 million, a decrease of 22% due to lower meat prices and higher costs of fuel, transportation, and animal feed raw materials.
  3. Share of profit of associates and JV decreased by 63%, mainly due to losses from the swine business in China through an associate company (holding a 35% stake), resulting from the decline in swine prices in China. This was due to oversupply conditions arising from the rapid capacity expansion by major operators in the prior period, combined with slowing purchasing power in line with domestic economic conditions.
